Your sensitivity, your attunement, your intuition about what your child needs, and your deep love and commitment to your children - I don’t need to teach you any of that.
When you’re well-rested and energized, you feel all of the joy and vibrancy of parenting. You’re fully present, immersed in the wonder of these beautiful little people. You marvel at their minds, soak in their enthusiasm, and delight in their exuberance.
When you’re depleted, however, it’s so hard to be the parent you want to be. You’re tired and overstimulated, and you just want to retreat to a quiet space. You’re irritable and impatient without meaning to be, and you can’t shake the feelings of disappointment and guilt about needing to escape from your kids. You worry that you’re failing them somehow, even though you feel such love and devotion for them that your heart might burst.
If you’re a highly sensitive parent, you know this struggle all too well.
This is a course designed to honor your sensitive nature, as well as your unique needs and limits. As a highly sensitive parent myself, I understand the struggle.
If you’re looking for a wise, unflappable guru who is unperturbed by anything their kids throw at them, that’s probably not me. If you’re looking for someone to roll up her sleeves and get down in the muck of parenting with you, I’m your woman. If you also appreciate a good dose of levity and the occasional profanity, welcome to my tribe.
I’m not a perfect parent, but I am relentless in my pursuit of understanding and improvement. I have complete faith in your ability to become the parent you want to be, and I will help you uncover and utilize your unique strengths as an HSP to get there.
This 8 week course will be part workshop, part coaching, and part community. You’ll receive a weekly lesson via email with prompts to guide your reflection and implementation.
